About Me

I was born in Henan, China in 1990. Both of my parents are teachers. I began playing piano at the age of 7, and it has been the centre of my life ever since. I graduated with honours in Piano Performance from Beijing Normal University, and continued my studies in jazz and popular music at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy.

I began teaching while still in university through local school and government programs, and now have over 15 years of experience working with young students. In China, I prepared students for ABRSM, Chinese piano grades, competitions, and recitals.

Since moving to Ireland in 2020, in addition to ABRSM, I now help students prepare for RIAM exams, as well as Junior and Leaving Certificate music. I currently teach privately, and also teach at Eden School of Music in Edenderry. Previously, I have taught at Fermatta School of Music and Piano Lessons Dublin.

My teaching style is joyful, encouraging, and tailored to each student. I love helping children grow their confidence and musical ability, and my students often become fast friends in the process. If you are interested in lessons, feel free to reach out through this website or via social media.
